- 1 DAY TRIP:
Meknes Via Volubilis
A day trip will take us to one of the imperial cities of Morocco, the city of Meknes, founded the 11th century by the Almoravid dynasty and served as the capital of Morocco under the reign of Moulay Ismail (1672–1727), before it was relocated to Marrakech. Meknes was named after a Berber tribe “Miknasa” which inhabited the area during the time of the Idrissid dynasty. Then we will visit the ancient roman ruins of Volubilis which is a partly excavated Berber and Roman city in Morocco situated near the city of Meknes, and commonly considered as the ancient capital of the kingdom of Mauretania.

Travelicious Review
We took a short tour with moha to the Bahia palace and saadiens tombs, and are eternally grateful we did. Moha is extremely charismatic, knows a ton of interesting local culture, and is just an all around great guy. Wish we had more time, but the midday heat got us in the end. Would definitely do it again!
