Casablanca – Rabat –Fes
Pick up from Casablanca Airport or accommodation, your journey with Trails Of Morocco will take you to the spiritual capital of Morocco, the most well preserved ancient town in the world. Our first stop will be at the capital of Morocco, where we will visit the 1199 unfinished Mosque of Hassan Tower and the beautiful Mausoleum of Mohammed Five where the kings are buried. Our adventure continues as we make our way towards the city of Meknes, where we will have a short stop at the what is believed to be the biggest ancient door in Morocco, then a panoramic view overlooking the medina of Meknes before we make our way towards the ancient Roman ruins where Trails Of Morocco guide will take you back to the 4th century BC. Then continue to join the city of Fes. Overnight in Fes.
Exploring Fes
At 9:30 am we will have a historical walk in the most preserved Medina in the world and the biggest urban area in Morocco, the old town of Fes. Trails Of Morocco will take you first in Fes Ramparts tour where we will visit the Royal Palace, the Jewish Quarter, The Bourj South from which we will have a beautiful panoramic over the Medina of Fes. The walking tour will take you through the narrow alleys of the medina where you will visit the Oldest University in the World and the beautiful Madrassas, the 11th century leather tanneries. After the walking tour Trails Of Morocco will take you for a drink in a place overlooking the medina from the north side. Overnight in Fes
Fes – Ifrane – Barbary Magots – Ziz Valley – Merzouga
At 8 am Trails Of Morocco will take you in a journey towards the southeast following the Caravan roads to the Berber village of Merzouga. During this journey you’ll experience the beauty of the Middle Atlas Mountains and the majestic High Altas Mountains . Stopping at the Cedar forest, the largest one in Morocco, over the Middle Atlas Mountains– where you will sight Barbary macaques. After lunch in Midelt, you will continue through the large open high desert, and notice how the scenery changes to reveal hints of the desert as you approach the city Errachidia. Your journey continues along the luxuriant Ziz Valley and the Tafilalet date palm grove, famous for date cultivation. This area is the cradle of the Alaouite dynasty - the current ruling royal family in Morocco, since 350 years ago. You’ll arrive to Merzouga in the early afternoon, and then you will camel trek across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi to spend a night under the nomad’s tents camp in the middle of the desert where the stuff of the camp will play Berber music for you while you dance around the fire under the Sahara stars. Overnight at a desert Luxury Camp with dinner and breakfast ( all your luggage will go on a 4x4 to your camp)
Merzouga – Rissani – Toudra Canyons – Dades
Early in the morning, the stuff at the camp will wake you up to watch what may be the best sunrise of your life and then you will camel trek back to the village to meet up with your Trails Of Morocco driver. In the way back you couldn’t fail to appreciate the unique beauty of the spectacular Erg Chebbi sand dunes - changing with the light as the day progresses. Leave for Rissani, where we will have a walk inside its ancient market – if time assists- then Todra gorges - the highest, narrowest gorges in Morocco. After lunch we’ll drive through the Dades Valley, where you’ll see the majestic sand castles and the amazing rock formations known as "monkey toes". Overnight In Dades
Dades – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech
At 8:30 am we will depart to Marrakech via the Rose Valley including a stop at a rose distillation Unit in order to get a clear idea of how rose is processed, then continue passing by the Skoura Palm grove and the road of 1000 Kasbahs to join Hollywood of Africa, the city of Ouarzazate, very well known for being the spot of the international movie makers and where famous movies were filmed such as “ The Mummy”,” Prince of Persia”, “Gladiator”. In Ouarzazate we will do a panoramic view overlooking the beautiful Kasbah Taourirt before we continue our way to the famous UNESCO World Heritage site Ksar or Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou. A very wonderful fortified city that stands at the edge of a hill separated by a running Ounila river, where we will have lunch and a visit the beautiful kasbah. Then we drive via the Atlas Mountains to pass via one of the Morocco amazing roads, the Tichka Pass that stands in 2260m above sea level. Thereafter, we continue to join the red city of Marrakech. Overnight in Marrakech
Exploring Marrakech
At 9:30 am Trails Of Morocco will take you in a morning guided tour of Marrakech "the Red City of Morocco”. Your guide will ensure that you see all the sites with historical and cultural interest, including the Koutoubia Mosque ; the Saadian tombs; the beautiful Palace of Bahia the only royal palace open to public in Morocco. Afterwards, we will walk through the medina alleys -getting a chance to admire all of the different artisans performing their crafts before arriving at the famous Jamaa El Fna. Square. Then we will take the traditional horse carriages to visit the beautiful Majorelle Gardens, a hidden majestic garden in the heart of the new city of Marrakech. Afternoon free time. Overnight in Marrakech
Day 7: Marrakech – Casablanca Airport Transfer
As you conclude your tour with Trails Of Morocco, we will drive you to the International Mohammed 5 Airport via the fast freeway according to your flight time.

Highly recommended tour if you are looking for ultra-friendly tour. Mohamed is proficient in English and well verse in the backgrounds of the places we visited. He also made sure we are well packed for trails an hiking. Overally we had an excellent experience and had created great memories in Morocco.
